These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the dishdeal mobile app and website (the “Service”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“dishdeal”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
1. Who can use dishdeal
You must be at least [16 / the minimum age in your country] and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to accept these Terms for it.
2. Your account
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
3. The Service
dishdeal reads grocery-store flyers, extracts the products and prices, and uses them to suggest recipes built around what’s on sale in your selected regions. Features, supported stores, and regions may change, expand, or be discontinued over time.
4. Deals, prices & recipes are informational
Prices and deals shown in dishdeal are informational and provided “as is.” They are derived from flyer images submitted by users and processed automatically, and they may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or expired. Availability, pricing, and product details are set by the relevant retailers — not by dishdeal — and may differ in store. Always confirm the actual price and availability with the retailer before purchasing.
Recipes and suggestions are provided for general informational purposes. dishdeal is not nutritional, dietary, allergen, or food-safety advice. You are responsible for checking ingredients and preparation for allergies, dietary needs, and safe handling. dishdeal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer named in the app.
5. User submissions
When you submit a flyer photo or other content (“Submissions”), you confirm you have the right to do so and that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or any law. You grant dishdeal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and use your Submissions to operate and improve the Service — including extracting deal data and adding it to a region’s shared catalog.
Don’t submit content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, infringing, or that contains personal data of others. We may review, moderate, reject, or remove Submissions at our discretion, but we are not obligated to monitor them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights when using the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- upload malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service;
- misuse the Service or use it to build a competing product from our data.
7. Premium subscriptions
dishdeal offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (“Premium”), available monthly or yearly.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your store account settings after purchase.
- Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly for store purchases.
Prices may change; we’ll give notice where required, and changes won’t apply to a period you’ve already paid for.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by dishdeal and its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes under these Terms. You keep the rights to your Submissions, subject to the license in Section 5.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (such as authentication, payment, hosting, and AI providers) and may link to third-party content. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any deal, price, or recipe is accurate or suitable for you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dishdeal and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on deals, prices, or recipes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or [CHF/EUR 50]. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold dishdeal harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your Submissions, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12) will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts of [JURISDICTION / VENUE], unless mandatory local law gives you other rights.
