Getting started

What is dishdeal?

dishdeal turns your local grocery-store flyer deals into recipe ideas. It reads the products and prices from weekly flyers in your region and builds meals around what's actually on sale.

Which countries and stores are supported?

dishdeal launches with Lidl, Aldi, Migros, Coop and Denner across several European markets, with more stores and countries being added. You choose the regions you care about in the app.

How do I set my region?

On first launch you pick one or more regions. You can change them anytime from your Profile. dishdeal can also suggest nearby regions based on your location if you allow it.

Deals & flyers

Where do the deals come from?

From grocery-store flyers. You and other users photograph flyers in the app; dishdeal extracts the products and prices and keeps them current for your region.

How do I scan a flyer?

Open the Scan tab, take a photo (or pick one from your library), and submit. Multi-page flyers are supported. Community submissions are reviewed before they appear so the data stays accurate.

A price looks wrong — what now?

Flyer prices change and can be misread. Deals in dishdeal are informational; always confirm the final price in-store. If you spot a bad entry, email us and we'll correct it.

Recipes & suggestions

How are recipes created?

dishdeal builds recipes around products that are currently on sale in your region, so the weekly plan reflects this week's real deals.

Can I ask for a specific meal?

Yes — that's the Suggest feature (Premium). Type what you feel like and dishdeal builds a recipe on demand using real products from your local flyers.

Account & subscription

Do I need an account?

Yes, a quick secure sign-in lets dishdeal save your regions and preferences and sync your experience.

How do I manage or cancel Premium?

Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel it in your store account settings — cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. See our Pricing page for full subscription terms.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from within the app, or request deletion by email. See the data-deletion page for exactly what's removed.
