Delete your account & data
You can delete your dishdeal account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open dishdeal and go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are scheduled for deletion right away.
Option 2 — By email
Email support@dishdeal.io from the address linked to your account with the subject “Data deletion request.” We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (display name, email/identifier).
- Your saved settings, such as selected regions and preferences.
- Flyer images you submitted that are personally tied to your account.
- Your subscription link in our records (billing records held by the App Store, Google Play or our payment processor follow their own retention rules).
What may be retained
Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you may be kept to operate the service — for example, deal information extracted from approved flyers that has been contributed to a region's shared catalog. We may also retain limited records where required by law (for example, tax or transaction records). See our Privacy Policy for details on retention.
How long it takes
Account deletion is processed promptly. Some data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten on our normal backup rotation.
